Alice Gone Terribly Wrong

Allow me to explain my absence.
I had nothing to say, nothing to complain about/love/hate/gossip about/overrate/obsess over/cry about/etc for the past weeks. Why?, you ask. I have no idea. Call it writer's block but I think it was just me being bored with the current situation in the world. However kids, I'm officially back.
Let's celebrate with an editorial face-off. Theme of the day: Edits with a narrative twist.


I dont know about all of you but Alice in wonderland has a special place in my heart and collection of classic Disney films on VHS. Evidently a lot of fashion people also love it becuase from time to time, season through season, an Alice-edit comes up in the myriad of magazines that exist around the globe. Today I came across yet another one.





I don't know who the photographer is, the model was probably picked up from the land forgotten by the gods, and ugh... the clothes.... I can't even focus on them because they blend in with the plainess of this whole project. I'm sure there are some major names involved here and that I'm probably hating on some of my favourite designers but the styling is so poorly executed that everything just lowers its standards down to nothing or worse.
